The Garw Valley Federation is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Administrative Manager to play a key role in the smooth and successful operation of our federated schools. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to join a dedicated and supportive team committed to providing the best possible outcomes for our pupils, staff, and community.
About the Role
The Administrative Manager will lead, organise, and oversee the administrative functions across the Federation, ensuring efficient systems, high quality support services and strong operational management. The postholder will work closely with the Executive Headteacher, Heads of School and governors, contributing to planning, development, and evaluation of key school processes.
We are looking for someone who can:
- Lead on the development, implementation and maintenance of Federation recording, information, and financial systems.
- Analyse and interpret data to produce high quality reports to support Federation leadership and governance.
- Provide advice to staff and leaders on HR, staffing matters and administrative processes.
- Deliver a professional PA service to the Executive Headteacher, and coordinate marketing and promotional activities for the Federation.
- Manage HR/payroll administration and support the development of effective HR systems.
- Oversee budgets, income, and expenditure, undertaking research to ensure best value.
- Manage school licences, insurance, and Health & Safety responsibilities.
- Line manage support staff, including recruitment, induction, training and appraisal.
