21 annualised hours per week
Joining our existing staff team you will cover for absences due to holidays, sickness and training including domestic, care and night shifts. You will need to be flexible as you will be responsible for undertaking high quality personal care tasks, general domestic duties, basic preparation and serving of food and trying to maximise the safety and comfort of the residents.
Ideally, you will have some experience of caring for older people. Formal qualifications are not essential. You must be flexible, committed and be prepared to take appropriate training.
You will work according to the needs of the service. You will be expected to work Bank Holidays and weekends for which you will receive an enhanced payment. You will need to be available to work upto 35 hours weekly when needed.
Protecting children, young people or adults at risk is a core responsibility of all council employees.
