Depending on the role, you don't always need qualifications, what is really important is having the right values, behaviours and attitudes to work effectively with people who need care and support.
The council is committed to enabling people to have more voice and control in their lives. We provide care and support for children, young people and adults in a range of settings; including their own home or residential provision.
We want to appoint staff who are able to:
• Provide support and personal care to individuals in their own home or community;
• Promote independence and encourage as well as empower individuals to express their views and opinions and make informed choices;
Observe individuals and complete documentation as required
