20 hours per week
Joining our existing residential team you will be required to undertake domestic or Kitchen Assistant duties within the home.
Ensuring that all areas of the home is kept clean and free from cross contamination. Cleaning of all communal areas, bedrooms and utility rooms. Following a cleaning rota which ensures all domestic duties have been addressed.
You will be required to undertake general cleaning duties in the kitchen area. Prepare small snacks & prepared meals which the main kitchen staff have provided. Assist in the serving of food, laying and clearing of tables.You will be required to participate in shift work, which includes weekends, and if required bank holidays. The hours will be arranged by the manager of the service and is subject to change to meet the demands of the service.
You will be responsible in delivering a safe and quality service.
Ideally, you will have some experience of domestic/kitchen duties. You will need to be committed and prepared to undertake appropriate training.
Protecting children, young people or adults at risk is a core responsibility of all council employees.
