Fixed Term up to 24 monthsWe are offering an opportunity for someone to join the Social Care Workforce Development Team and follow an apprenticeship programme which will give you the skills and experience to pursue a career in learning and development.
Applications will not be considered for those who have already achieved a qualification at an equivalent or higher level in learning and development or those who have already achieved a qualification at degree level in the same field.
Gaining on the job training, experience and support to achieve a Level 3 Qualification in Education and Training, you will learn about the work of the Social Care Workforce Development Team, the Social Services and Wellbeing Directorate and Bridgend County Borough Council. The Level 3 Award in Education and Training is an introductory teaching qualification which prepares learners for teaching in a wide range of contexts. This qualification will give learners an introduction and a basic knowledge of the requirements within the lifelong learning sector
Working within the Social Care Workforce Development Team, you will be responsible for supporting learning and development activity and in particular assisting in the development of blended and digital learning techniques, supporting our digital learning strategy. You will also assist in gathering information and workforce profiling to help improve data intelligence.
You will already have excellent ICT skills, including word processing, presentation software and spreadsheets with experience of using Microsoft Office products or equivalent. This will be supported by a good standard of education with a minimum of 5 GCSE’s, to include English and Maths, at grade C or above. Equally important will be your positive attitude towards learning and development and the ability to work with others.
