An exciting opportunity has presented to lead Bridgend Youth Justice Service.
Our Youth Justice Service has been on a significant journey of improvement over the past 3 years, since being re-established as a stand-alone service. Current leaders have ensured the service is in a secure position to be taken over by a new manager who will have the vision and passion to push the service on towards further improvement.
You will be responsible for ensuring high quality youth justice and prevention support for children and young people open to the service. This will include responsibility for ensuring all practice within youth justice is delivered in line with relevant legislation, regulation and guidance which includes local and national policy and procedures.
We are looking for a creative and proactive individual who has the desire to develop the service and ensure there is strong collaboration across partnerships to deliver robust and effective services for children and young people.
You will play a pivotal role, in ensuring the vision of the service is delivered:

The ability to greet customers through the medium of Welsh is a requirement for this post.
