35 hours per week
Joining our existing residential team you will be required to undertake social care duties within the home.
As a social care worker you will contribute delivering an efficient and effective service whilst meeting the principles of the Social Services and Wellbeing Act 2016 (Wales) and CIW Care Inspectorate of Wales.
Supporting and assisting people in their daily tasks while encourageing them to maintain their independene and enabling people to achieve agreed and positive outcomes.
You'll be required to participate in shift work, which includes mornings and afternoons. You will be required to work weekends and bank holidays as part of the rota requirements, for these hours you will receive a time and third. The hours will be arranged by the Care Manager /Team Leaders of the service and is subject to change to meet the demands of the service. You will be responsible in delivering a safe and quality service.
Ideally, you will have some experience of working in the Health and Social Care Sector. You will need to be committed and be prepared to undertake appropriate training.
Protecting children, young people or adults at risk is a core responsibility of all council employees.
