Western Bay Mental Health Service Improvement Officer Fixed term contract - 6 months, until 31st March 2015.Western BayThis job is only available to staff of City and County of Swansea, Bridgend County Borough Council, Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council and the Abertawe Bro Morgannwg University (ABMU) Health Board.
You will play a key role in supporting service improvement work and facilitating change as part of the Western Bay Health and Social Care Collaborative's Mental Health Project. Duties will include:
Providing expertise, advice and practical support for delivering improved services for individuals Communicating and championing good practice and service improvement across the Mental Health services provided throughout the Western Bay Region.Supporting the adoption and spread of service improvement approaches and methodologiesWorking with stakeholders to make sustainable changes and improvement, through advice, teaching and coaching in service redesign and change management.
Working with Practice Solutions Ltd to support the delivery of an agreed programme of change across the Western Bay area.
Educated to degree level and possessing a health or social care qualification, you must possess strong project manager skills and have a good understanding and knowledge of the impact that mental health and wellbeing can have upon individuals and their families.
Experience of mental health service delivery, change management and of working in a social care, health or equivalent relevant setting is essential.
