Can you help provide effective and creative leadership for Children's Services in the Vale of Glamorgan?

They are looking for an exceptional leader, able to take on the task of improving integrated working by bringing together some very successful teams and services - Flying Start, Families First, Intake and Family Support, and Child Health and Disability. You'll be responsible for helping the Council and its partners take forward its programme of change, designed to provide children and families with a range of services which are more responsive to need and more sustainable.
A proven track record of effective management within Children's Social Services is essential. Crucially, you'll know what good practice looks like and how to help your staff achieve these standards within a demanding environment. Excellent judgement and first class leadership skills will enable you to make a positive and lasting contribution to Social Services within the Vale of Glamorgan.
