We are seeking dynamic individual who have enthusiasm, flexibility and a determination to deliver complex programmes of change. They will need to have the ability to work within legislative frameworks and codes and to undertake comprehensive consultations with the full range of stakeholders, including children and young people.
The education and family support directorate are undertaking a wholescale review of its schools with the aim of delivering a sustainable strategy for education underpinned by robust models, which will deliver the right education in the right place and with the best outcomes for children in Bridgend.
One of the most crucial work streams of that review is a Post 16 review which will:
* Establish and drive forward a strategic approach to post 16 education provisions in the borough.* Co-design post 16 education provision with stakeholders.* Evaluate the impact of the post 16 plans for education.* Identify any opportunities for any advantageous service re-configuration including assessing the implications for other stakeholders.* Assess the implications of any proposals and advise the strategic board of those potential implications.* To have an agreed 'whole system' approach.* To apply the agreed assumptions.* To ensure timely completion of every project milestones.* To apply a project structure and project plan to the project
