This is a unique opportunity for someone to undertake a pivotal role in the transformation of Learning Disability Services across the Western Bay Region.
You will manage the programme of work established by the Western Bay Learning Disability Project Board to develop integration and joint working between the Western Bay partners and ultimately oversee its delivery. Additionally you will take the lead role in defining, planning and implementation of the Community Learning Disability Services Operating Policy and supporting policies and protocols
Educated to degree level, you will have proven experience of strategic and operational management within the Health and Social Care Sector. Not only will you have a comprehensive understanding of NHS and local government policy and legislation in Wales and an in-depth knowledge of current issues and best practice relating to learning disability and related services, but you will possess advanced organisational and project management skills, having the ability to lead projects from the planning stage through to implementation.
