Communities for Work (C4W) is a Welsh Government programme, supported by EU funds, which tackles poverty through sustainable employment providing intensive employment mentoring and support.
The Triage process will be a vital part of the project and the successful candidate will be able to work on their own initiative as well as being part of a team. The postholder will work with C4W, C1st and DWP colleagues, and others, to provide a broad range of administrative duties to support the C4W team of Mentors and Advisors to deliver outcomes which support and encourage economic activity for individuals.
With demonstrable organisational and communication skills and an ability to work as part of an integrated team, the post holder will be responsible for implementing a number of key processes to ensure that all Welsh Government and ESF monitoring is accurate and that the project provides a quality customer experience for all those engaged on the programme.
The post will sit within Bridgend Communities First Programme, a Welsh government funded Anti-poverty programme which works with the most deprived communities in Bridgend. Bridgend has 3 Community First Cluster areas in Upper, Mid and Lower Bridgend.
C4W is supported by EU funds and is a high profile national backbone ESF Operation, it will deliver intensive mentoring and employment support services in Bridgend Communities First areas
This is a unique opportunity to be an integral part of the Communities for Work delivery team. The role will include developing strong links with key partners and stakeholders, administrative support and coordination of the local delivery team, and dealing with enquiries and referrals.
