The Council's ICT Service Unit is committed to providing a customer led Information Technology service. Our aim is to exhibit continuing improvement in our services by meeting the business needs of our customers through investment in technology and employees.
As part of this investment we have created two exciting opportunities for hardworking and committed learners, between the age range of 16 and 24 who are keen to embark on a career in Business Administration but with a high dependency on ICT. Working in the Digital Office as a Temporary Digital Office Apprentice, you will be gaining on the job training, experience and support to achieve a QCF (Qualification Credit Framework, formerly known as NVQ) level 2 in Business Administration. You will learn about the work of the Digital Office which has been setup to digitise electronic records and the mail in and out processes. Applications will not be considered for those who have already achieved a qualification at degree level.
You will have both the enthusiasm and drive to undertake professional development. Applications will not be considered for those who have already achieved a qualification at degree level. Already computer literate, you will be a proficient user of technology with excellent communication skills and understanding of the importance of customer care.
During the apprenticeship you will receive support and be mentored by a senior team manager to develop your career whilst benefitting from exposure to new technology.
