Cleaner Streets Operations Officer - Street Scene
37 hours a week
We are looking for an experienced operations officer to oversee the working arrangements of the council's Cleaner Streets Service. You will need to be responsive to ever-growing budget constraints and innovative in future service provision.
You should be familiar with Health & Safety controls and Local Authority procurement processes and able to communicate to a diverse work force. The work will include the development of schedules and a good level of IT skills is therefore essential.
There is regular contact with the general public and community groups and you should be able to formulate responses to complaints and queries. It is necessary to work in a flexible manner to cater for the needs of the service at any particular time.
A current driving licence is essential
