Working as a member of a busy team, you will support the maintenance of the core financial information systems of the Council to meet corporate needs and system needs of individual service users. Your main tasks will include the logging and progressing of software faults with external supplier, informing system users of updates, maintaining the database of user access rights, controlling and processing feeder system updates and batch processing and end user training and support.
Accuracy and attention to detail is essential. You should also demonstrate a flexible approach and an ability to work under pressure and to deadlines. You will be educated to the equivalent to NVQ Level 3 in a related subject field and/or with relevant experience.
