Bridgend County Borough Councils ICT department is committed to providing a customer led information technology service. This is focused around best of breed technologies that feature across the Gartner Magic Quadrant. Our mission is the continual improvement across all our activities by concentrating on meeting the business needs of the customers.
The Unified Services section within the ICT service unit, require an experienced ICT professional to manage and lead the Service desk and Support Teams. Mentoring of, ICT support staff is key, as well as managing change across the desktop estate. Extensive experience of incident and problem management following ITIL best practice is expected. Accurate CMDB management, experience of managing service level agreements, and providing procedural documentation for first and second line support staff is desirable.
You will possess a degree or the ability to demonstrate competence through experience. ITIL Foundation is desirable.
