The Governors of Tondu Primary School wish to appoint an energetic and highly motivated teacher to join our successful team. From September 2025, the school will welcome the addition of an Observation and Assessment Class, a specialist provision for 8-10 pupils with complex learning needs.
Tondu Primary School is an English-medium school providing education for children between 3 years and 11 years. The successful candidate will:
Be a proven excellent teacher.
Be responsible for specialist teaching of pupils with complex learning needs.
Have a secure understanding of the ALN reform.
Have experience of working with pupils with additional learning needs
Be flexible and versatile.
Enjoy working closely with colleagues.
Be highly motivated and well organised.
Have high expectations of all children in every aspect of school life
Have experience of inclusion, including managing appropriate paperwork and working with outside agencies.
Contribute to the wider school community

The ability to conduct a basic conversation through the medium of Welsh is a requirement for this post.
Protecting children, young people or adults at risk is a core responsibility of all council employees.
