We are seeking an innovative, committed and experienced teacher to take on the role of Curriculum Standards and Assessment Lead in Foundation Learning. This position is crucial in ensuring that our curriculum is effectively embedded into classrooms, promoting coherence, consistency, and alignment with the curriculum for Wales. The successful candidate will play a central role in driving curriculum innovation, supporting teachers in implementing best practices, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. As part of this role, you will be responsible for leading on Numeracy across the school.
You will contribute significantly to raising pupil standards and outcomes by leading curriculum development, assessment practices, and professional development initiatives.
As a Senior Leadership Team (SLT) member, you will also share in the collective responsibility for the school’s success and ethos, ensuring a safe, happy, and innovative learning environment where all pupils and staff thrive. Members of the SLT are expected to contribute beyond their core subject or area of responsibility to ensure the school's success and smooth running.
