A fantastic and exciting opportunity is available within Bridgend Children and Family Services to provide operational management leadership and support to our case management and transition teams which include our care-experienced children’s team, 15+ service and children with disabilities and transition.

You will role model adaptive leadership approaches to ensure a clear, inclusive and engaged approach across all of Children and Family Services to strengthen the involvement of service users, carers, local communities and key stakeholders. You will enable and participate in conversations to ensure planning to design and deliver services with and for children and families focus on outcomes.
You will evidence the ability to ensure children are protected from harm and are provided with support that help children and families thrive.
You will ensure the highest standards of operational leadership and management. You will display a highly developed collaborative and compassionate leadership style, being values based in your approach to lead safe and effective care for the children and families in Bridgend with the ability to influence and drive innovation and transformational change.

The ability to greet customers through the medium of Welsh is a requirement for this post.
Protecting children, young people or adults at risk is a core responsibility of all council employees.
An Enhanced Children and Adults Barred list criminal records check by the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) is a requirement for this post.
A valid driving licence is requirement for this post.
