The Adult Safeguarding & Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS) Team is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Social Worker and Best Interest Assessor to join the MASH (Multi-agency Safeguarding Hub). The Team is friendly, fast paced and supportive, committed to working towards and achieving positive outcomes for citizens within our area.
The MASH work in close collaboration with partner agencies such as South Wales Police and the Local Health Board, to support individuals in line with the Social Services & Well Being (Wales) Act 2014 and the Wales Safeguarding Procedures.
Along with responding to Adult at Risk reports, our team is responsible for DoLS assessments for Bridgend County Borough Council and Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board.

We encourage applications from experienced Social Workers, with a minimum of 3 years post qualifying experience. In return you will receive a robust induction, regular supervision, additional support and mentoring where required.

Although the Person Specification identifies BIA training in essential, this is desirable. BIA training will be provided to the successful candidate.
