37 hours per week
12 full time roles have become available in the Green Spaces and Bereavement Services Section. The post holders focus will be to provide a high-quality grass cutting service on the Highway Urban and Rural Verges, Central Reservations and Green Spaces.
Working from maps and plans to advise colleagues of required cutting routes and operational procedures will be a significant part of the role. Other grounds maintenance activities will include – path edging, pruning, clearing vegetation, lifting branches, moss clearance.
Working on related sites in Cemeteries and Rights of Way /Bridal Ways will also be required.
The ability to greet customers through the medium of Welsh is a requirement for this post.
Protecting children, young people or adults at risk is a core responsibility of all council employees.
A valid driving licence is requirement for this post.
A Health Surveillance assessment through our Occupational Health Service is a requirement for this post
