The Governors of Litchard Primary School are looking to appoint a dedicated, compassionate, and enthusiastic Specialist Support Officer to join our new Foundation Learning ASD class, supporting pupils aged 5–7 (Reception to Year 2). This is a fixed-term position for one year in the first instance.We are seeking someone who:Has a genuine passion for supporting pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN), particularly Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)Brings experience of working in specialist or inclusive educational settingsDemonstrates a nurturing, patient, and flexible approach to learning supportWorks well as part of a team and contributes positively to the wider school communityIs committed to helping every pupil thrive in a calm, structured, and supportive environmentThis is a fantastic opportunity to be part of an exciting new provision and make a real difference in the lives of pupils with additional needs.If you are caring, proactive, and committed to inclusive education, we would love to hear from you.
The ability to greet customers through the medium of Welsh is a requirement for this post.
